Kerman rug handwoven in Central Iran during the second quarter of the 20th century.
It features an elegant allover design of floral sprays in pastel pinks, reds, blues, browns, and gold and on a sandy khaki ground. It is framed by a wide border in the same tones of various bouquets that enter the field along its scalloped edges.
In very good condition, signs of wear consistent with age. Medium pile, with a heavy handle. Wool is incredibly soft and shiny.
