This Large Silk Kayseri Rug features a double niche mihrab with four columns, two hanging lanterns, and four potted plants. It has a very architectural feel as though looking into a mosque. The arches atop the columns have intricate foliage like that which would grow on the side of a building. The blood-red ground is very striking and pops against the soft and subtle tones of green, yellow, pink, blue, and beige.
