This Orange and Blue Baluch Rug features a thin field of latch hooked devices on a lattice grid only two columns wide. A thick Turkmen line border that slithers around the perimeter and is further framed by a thin ivory scroll border composed of what may be an abstracted dragon motif. It utilizes a limited palette of orange, blue, brown, and ivory throughout. The play of scale and rhythmic use of negative space create an effective rendition with lots of movement for such a restrictive palette.
