This banded Chinle rug was woven by the Navajo during the middle of the 20th century.

It was woven in the Southwest United States, likely in the state of Arizona. It features a pared-down color palette of greys, blues, browns, and yellows. The design is composed of straight and curved bands, separated by thin white lines. 

In very good condition, signs of wear consistent with age. Flatwoven, with a sturdy handle.
