This vintage Kashan rug was woven during the late 20th century in Central Iran.
It features an monochromatic scene of both the architectural and natural beauty found in the persian city of Kashan. The tones are achieved by using only undyed wool which makes the rendition all the more spectacular.
This rug is in perfect condition, with no signs of wear. The pile is low and densely woven, with original fringe ends still intact.
