Turkish Kayseri rug handwoven during the second quarter of the 20th century.
This elegant little rug features a sophisticated garden block design on a taupe field, which is also repeated in the main border. Each block has a unique design that is repeated once within the field design, and consist of various garden motifs. This rug is both soft of the eye due to the soft and earthy color palette; and soft to the touch, thanks to the shiny mercerized cotton of the pile.
In excellent condition, signs of wear consistent with age. Low pile and densely woven, extremely soft and shiny.
