This Heriz rug was handwoven in Northwest Iran during the middle of the 20th century.
This classic Heriz features a geometric central medallion on a faded red ground. The four ivory cornices brighten the composition and the aubergine border adds something a little different.
In good condition, with visible wear throughout which gives the rug an edgy feel. Wear at both ends with some old repairs in the field. Low pile with a sturdy handle.
