This Kazak Runner features a thin field of polygons on a red ground with arrows near a small green section at the top giving the pattern subtle directionality. The polygons are filled with protection symbols and slightly shift in scale unintentionally. It is framed by a very wide and relatively bright ivory main border with large-scale geometric devices in red, yellow, green, and icy blue.

This Kazak runner was woven in the South Caucasus at the turn of the 20th century.

It features a thin field of polygons on a red ground with arrows near a small green section at the top giving the pattern subtle directionality. The polygons are filled with protection symbols and slightly shift in scale unintentionally. It is framed by a very wide and relatively bright ivory main border with large-scale geometric devices in red, yellow, green, and icy blue. 

It very good condition. It is almost fluffy with long silky wool and a soft floppy handle.
