This Keshan was handwoven during the 2nd quarter of the 20th century (1925-1950) in Central Iran.
It features an array of lively curving vines and detailed palmettes in navy, chocolate, icy blue, and delicate wheat atop a soft beige field. The main border is in the same tones with a similar but more tightly composed drawing with more detailed palmettes.
In good condition with some areas of foundation showing due to wear as pictured. Finely woven with a low but sturdy pile.
