This Tehran rug was handwoven during the second quarter of the twentieth century (1925-1950) in Iran. Features extremely intricate and lively palmettes with scythe and featherlike leaves rendered throughout the rug. Beautiful color palette featuring shades of light blue, tan, and deep indigo outlines. Wear is consistent with age.
