This Gabbeh was woven in the middle of the 20th century in Southwest Iran.
It features a multicolored open field of a bright and lively red with fun graphics of a single camel and bird. The reds have been dyed in different small batches fading at different rates showing an interesting striation. The whole is surrounded by a perimeter of white, orange, and purple stripes encapsulated within two back stripes.
In good condition, with wear that is consistent with age. The rug was woven very loosely and curves to the right and likely this has always been a feature.
