Mid-century Lilihan rug, handwoven in Western Persia.
This colorful and funky rug features a rainbow of colors. Floral sprays sit atop a white field, an uncommon color for this type of rug. The various blossoms are flowers are woven in vibrant reds and oranges, with dots of green and black outlines. The border is composed of a sweet little floral meander with various blossoms like carnations and rosettes, on an inky-blue field.
In excellent condition, signs of wear consistent with age. Pile is low and fuzzy, with a sturdy handle. A hardy rug, well suited for high-traffic areas.
