This Turkish rug was woven in Central Anatolia during the third quarter of the 20th Century.
It features an ornate central medallion on an open raspberry ground. The four graphic cornices feature layers of wave-like latchooks accentuating the strength of the medallion. Framed by a border of scrolling unfurled tendrils.
In excellent condition for its age. It features a dense and heavy handle of plush wool.
