The composition is composed of various weeping willows and floral bouquets in a pleasing palette of blues, reds and pinks on a pale yellow ground. This patterning is uncharacteristic of Sarouk weaving and more commonly associated with Kashan. Nicely framed by a distinctive red and yellow dual ground interlock border.

This Tekke main rug was handwoven during the first quarter of the 20th century in Turkmenistan.

The field features a grid rounded main guls in apricot, indigo, turquoise and ivory on vibrant red ground. The space between the grid is filled with rows of cruciform shaped secondary guls. In a rare square format that allows for very luxurious and open spacing of the guls.

This Art Deco rug was handwoven in Tientsin, China during the second quarter of the 20th century. 

This Deco rug features a central dragon surrounded by additional dragons in each of it's four corners all atop an open golden yellow ground framed by a thick unadorned navy border. The scaly and serpentine dragons come in a variety of tones and are each surrounded by colorful cloudbands which emphasize that they are in flight. In China the dragon is often depicted winglessly flying through clouds. I

In the center are two latch-hooked medallions on deep navy surrounded by a lacquer-red ground surrounded by a final field of cobalt.  Various greens, turqoise, apricot and aubergine contrast wonderfully and accentuate the various Small symbols and figures that fill the negative space. Nicely framed by an ivory main border which brightens the composition.

Luri namkadan saltbag soumak woven face with a pattern of bur-like protection symbols in two rows and on the neck of the bag. The top row breaks off to the left mid symbol while the bottom breaks off to the right mid bur giving the composition the illusion of movement. The pattern is simple yet complex with rich and saturated blues, reds, green, and apricot with chocolate brown and a bright white that really pops.
