This Hamadan rug was woven during the middle of the 20th century in Western Iran.
It features a classic Herati pattern in a restrained and highly decorative palette of soft ivories and faint blues on a grayish-brown field. Light and airy in a desirable size.
It is in very good condition and the pile has been sheared down even.
