Late 19th century Chi Chi rug woven in the Eastern Caucasus. 

It features classic chi chi patterning of hooked polygons, rosettes, and alternating arrows in soft blues, yellows, and reds on an inky blue field. The main border features characteristic bursting rosettes on a lovingly oxidized brown. An abrashed laleh abbassi gaurds the perimeter of the rug. 

In good condition with some worn areas, mostly due to oxidation of the browns (pictured). There are some areas of repair, including a patch, as well as some stiffening of the rug on one warp end due to some past water damage.
