Regular price $650.00 Sale

This small rug was handwoven in China during the beginning of the 20th century.

It features a limited color palette in shades of blue and cream and a soft oxidized brown. The central mandala is framed by an alternating rosette pattern and scrolling cornices creating a diamond shaped field. The main border is a scrolling vine with two heart like shapes framed on the top and bottom with a minor border composed of a greek key motif.

This little rug is in very good condition, signs of wear consistent with age; oxidation in the golden brown dye adds a dimensionality. The pile is low with a soft handle.
