This Gabbeh rug was handwoven in Southern Iran during the 21st century.
It features an undyed backdrop featuring a variety of natural wool. The pattern is comprised of simple rows of squares surrounded by a similar square border comprised of lines in the primary tones of red, yellow and blue. One more thin diamond border in the same tones and style of construction surrounds the whole. The pile is densely woven, making this a plush rug.
The condition is excellent unused condition, with no signs of wear.
