Antique tie dyed shawl or dupatta handmade in Shekhawati or Jodhpur district of Rajasthan, India during the early 20th century.

This shawl is made of woven muslin cloth which has been resist dyed in multicolored pattern known as lehriya. Lehriya, which translates to "wave", is unique technique from Rajasthan which utilizes colorful diagonal of chevron stripes and is thought to be its inspired by the surrounding desert landscape. 

A dupatta was seen as a symbol of modesty and would be worn over the head and shoulders as a shawl like scarf.
