Vintage cape or shawl from Waziristan, a Pushtun tribal area on the border of Afghanistan and Pakistan.
This half-moon-shaped textile is composed of multicolored cotton embroidery, with some funky details provided by white buttons in the center. Appliqued shapes provide more color and visual interest.
In very good condition, signs of wear consistent with age. Embroidery on cotton with a light and airy handle.
