This Ladakh Bokh Shawl was handcrafted in the tribal area of Zanskar Ladakh India during the early 20th century. 

It is handwoven of fine Himalayan yak's wool in multiple panels. It has been tied and dyed using a local technique called thigma and most prominently featuring Indigo dye to powerful effect. The center is unadorned showcasing the natural indigo variations and the edges feature yellow rosettes with soft purple meandering like puffs of smoke near the edge.

In very good condition with some fading and a light, soft handle
