This Kazak rug was handwoven at the turn of the 20th century in the Caucasus.

It features a field of two bold red geometric diamonds atop a beautiful light blue ground also containing six large boteh symbols.

This is a hand-knotted​ rug with a low pile with some areas of wear. Wear is consistent with age.
