This beautiful Karadja rug was woven during 1900-1925 in Northwest Iran. It features the classic geometric triple medallion design characteristic of Karaja weaving. The rich red field is embellished with bright and eye catching blues, greens, oranges, yellows, and whites. The dark border gives the rug weight and visual interest. In great condition, with wear consistent with age.
