Kurdish runner from Northwest Persia, dating between 1900-1925.
It features a repeating diamond design in alternating blues and reds with accents of yellow, ivory, and green. The bottom of the field unexpectedly features two rows of tulips in profile.
A unique piece that is in good condition with significant wear in the lower part of the rug (pictured) where the pile has worn down. The rug is structurally sound and the edges have been reinforced for longevity.
