This Karadja runner was woven during the early 20th century in Northwest Iran.

A less common variation on a very consistent design, features a central latch-hooked central lozenge flanked by three geometric stars on each side. The stars alternate in soft blue and bright white which flows harmoniously on the equally uncommon gold backdrop. Deeper indigo blues and soft pinks, chocolate, and rust complete the pleasing palette. In very good condition, with minor wear throughout.
