This Bidjar kilim was woven in Northwest Iran during the middle of the 20th century.
It features a geometric floral design with a rosette central medallion on a bed of roses atop indigo blue field. The whole is framed by abstracted flowers in a zany geometric pattern. The main border is an abstracted version of the traditional stars and leaves design.
In excellent condition, with little to no signs of wear. Flatwoven, with a sturdy handle.
