This runner was woven in the Caucasus during late 19th century.
It features a deep rust orange field with eleven small medallions in alternating shades of blue, yellow, brown and green. Three borders frame the main design. The main border has an ivory field with a rosette pattern.
The pile is soft and closely woven and the rug is in overall good condition with some wear throughout, consistent with the age.
