This Karadagh runner was handwoven in Northwest Iran during the second quarter of the 20th century. It features a series of exceptional graphic medallions with geometric symbols and figures filling out the negative space. Blues, browns, tans and pops of hot pink make up the lush color palette. The pile is full but of low height. In good condition, with some repairs done to prolong use. Signs of wear consistent with age.
