This vintage Malayer/Hamadan rug was handwoven during the second quarter of the 20th century in Western Iran.
It features a classic geometric design in reds and blues, with pops of yellow and ivory for detail. A herati patterned field is surrounded by a colorful border of alternating hearts.
Pile is low and densely woven, in excellent condition overall, with no signs of wear.
