This Gabbeh rug was handwoven in Southern Iran during the third quarter of the 20th century.
It features a field of large graphic concentric diamonds surrounded by a thin border of much smaller diamonds. The serrated edges and strong color contrast between the blues, green, red, ivory, and apricot make for a visually arresting composition.
In great condition with some minor wear along the ends. The pile is woven, giving this rug a gentle handle.
