NW Chinese Khotan rug, handwoven in the 1990s. It is composed of soft camel and taupe color palette. At the top of the rug is the date "4 Agustos 1991" (4 August 1991) and the sickle moon and star symbolizing Islam below it. The rest of the field is left plain. In good condition, signs of wear consistent with age.
