Classic Lilihan rug handwoven during the second quarter of the 20th century in Western Iran.
Featuring an allover curvilinear floral design composed of leaves and blossoms on a lush raspberry pink field. Other colors include golden taupes and indigo blues. Notice the deep navy of the border, upon which rests a lovely floral meander.
In fair condition, with wear throughout; notable areas where the pile has worn down to the foundation are the lower left hand side and the top right corner. Foundation is still intact and integrity of the rug is solid. Pile is low, handle is sturdy but pliable.
