Lori Rug - 5'3 x 7'9

Regular price $950.00 Sale

This Lori rug was handwoven in Southern Iran. It features two ivory lozenges topped a directional "arrow" top on a navy ground. Each lozenge contains serrated leaves and other devices in blue, red, and purple. The scalloped edge field is full of various botehs, rosettes, and what could be described as either tree of torches in soft blue and an energetic yellow. The whole is framed by a red main border that contains the same devices as the ivory lozenges and two minor borders in the same bright ivory tone.

In Fair but sturdy condition with old repairs, worn to the foundation in some places with a small hole.
