This highly collectible kilim was woven in the Mazandaran region of North-central Iran during the 19th century. A true weaver's kilim, it is composed of three sections and utilizes multiple shades of undyed wool to obtain a striated effect. It is very soft and can be easily draped, making it perfect as a multi-function textile. In great condition for its age, with no significant damage, apart from a small hole in the central panel.
