This Kerman was woven in Central Iran during the second quarter of the 20th century.
It features a detailed field of various floral bouquets on a salmon ground. It is framed by a wide and ornate "c" scroll border of curved leaves and peacock-like palmettes. Various blues, greens, pinks, burnt orange, and cream complete the color palette.
In good condition, some wear (as pictured). One area has been patched with a piece of another rug. The patch is woven in as well as strongly secured from the back of the rug.
