A stunning Persian Mahal rug, woven during the second quarter of the 20th century (1925-1950). This rug features a brick medallion on a navy field with accents colors of greens, soft blues and gold . The medallion, field and cornices are rendered with the same pattern on a different backdrop for an lovely visual effect.
In great condition, as pictured. As mahals most often come in large room sizes, it is uncommon to find them in smaller sizes.
