This fine kilim was handwoven during the early 20th century in Northwest Iran.

It features small diamond motifs in red and light blue that fill the entire inner area, each outlined in an ivory wavy line. Two hookah smokers mysteriously appear in the top corners. The ground is a nice deep blue with borders in ivory and blue to pull the piece together.

In excellent condition. Flatwoven, with a medium handle.
