This rug was handwoven during the middle of the twentieth century in Northwest Iran.

It features a soft abrashed field of faded scarlet and light brown behind a twirly chain link style lattice. A variety of birds, shrubs, botehs and rosettes in gray, blues, ivory and copper fill the spaces in between the lattice.

Very good condition with no visible wear and a low dense pile.
