This Heriz rug was handwoven during the second quarter of the 20th century in northwest Iran. It features a graphic geometric design in red, blue, coral and gold. An alternating palmette main border frames a prominent central medallion and four ivory ground cornices. In good condition, with some wear (pictured) consistent with age.
