This squarish Bidjar was handwoven during the second quarter of the 20th century (1925-1950) in Northwest Iran.
It features a satisfying combo of navy, icy blue, and green along with cool ivory tones in both the field and the border. A jumble of interesting motifs fills the field including harshang or "crab" motifs, palmettes, birds, and most interesting, two abstracted figures.
In excellent condition. The pile is low and dense with a sturdy handle.
