This Gabbeh rug was handwoven by Qash’qai weavers at the end of the 20th century in southern Iran. The simple abstract patterning is primal enough to have a contemporary feel. This piece features a repeating chevron pattern reminiscent of bolts of lightning in amber and ivory against a open grey field. In perfect condition.
