This Gabbeh rug was handwoven at the end of the 20th century in southern Iran There is a mix of contemporary design along with the traditional aspects of the Qashqai tribe, including the use of their own hand spun wool. Features two burgundy horses standing in line atop a grey undyed wool field. Similar, yet not exact duplicates, the horses have touches of light yellow and green shadowing with some dark black for the mane. Surrounded by a burgundy border with a geometric arrow symbol in varying bright colors and ivory. In perfect condition.
