This Gabbeh rug was handwoven at the end of the 20th century in southern Iran. There is a mix of contemporary design along with the traditional aspects of the Qashqai tribe, including the use of their own hand spun wool. Features an ivory pony atop a beautiful burgundy field with small delicate flowers sprinkled throughout. Asymmetrical checkerboard border in olive green, blue, red, and brown. In perfect condition.
