Kerman rug handwoven in Central Iran during the second quarter of the 20th century.

The elegant design of this rug is composed of an oval central medallion on a soft and shiny ivory field. The central medallion is intricate and curvilinear, with vases containing bouquets on top and bottom. Sprays of flowers, composed of blossoms like roses and carnations, are connected by vines and tendrils. The color palette is composed of light beiges, light and dark blues, pinks, and greens. A narrow border with a floral meander completes the design. 

In excellent condition, signs of wear consistent with age. Low pile, with a heavy handle. Wool is incredibly soft and shiny.
