This Malayer rug was handwoven during the second quarter of the 20th century in Western Iran.
It features abstracted floral motifs in blues, ivory, pink and tan on a red ground. The borders are composed of alternating rosettes.
In good condition, with some wear. Pile is low and densely woven, with a sturdy handle. Has been cut from a larger rug and reattached properly.
