Persian Sarouk Rug - 3'5 x 5'2

Regular price $575.00 Sale

Sarouk rug woven in Western Iran in the second quarter of the 20th century.

The field is a lush raspberry color and has been "painted" as well, a typical technique used on Sarouk rugs of the era. Over time the paint fades and gives a soft marbled look to the pile. A durable, hard wearing rug perfect for a high traffic area.

In very good condition, signs of wear consistent with age. Wear as shown in the images, edges have been reinforced for longevity. Pile is low, handle is very sturdy.
