Hamadan rug from the second quarter of the 20th century, handwoven in Western Iran.
This cheerful rug features a bright red field with an orange and cream central medallion and four cornices. The remainder of the field is filled a latticework of geometric and floral shapes. The color palette includes bright reds and light blues, with pops of hot pink, and soft camel.
In excellent condition, signs of wear consistent with age. Very hardwearing with full pile, with a sturdy handle. Perfect for an entryway or other high traffic area in need of a pop of color, or try it by the bed for a plush, cozy feel.
