This Tabriz rug was handwoven in northwest Iran during the second quarter of the 20th century.

It features a kaleidoscopic design of flowering vines in reds, golds, blues, and greens on deep navy ground. The design is a wonderful combination of whimsical inspiration and crisp execution. Nicely framed by lively bunny-eared palmettes in gold, teal, navy, and pink on a burnt red ground.

In good condition, with some loose edging (as pictured) and a low sturdy pile.
