Vintage Turkmen trapping, handwoven in C Asia.
This trapping features a classic Turkmen color palette and design, with a small main field of composed of Turkmen güls, framed by six small borders all featuring classic geometric designs. The color palette is composed of earthy reds, oranges, browns, and deep blues, with cream details and a cream wool warp which is used to create the fringe.
In excellent condition, with no signs of wear. Low pile, original fringe and tassels still intact, with a sturdy handle.
