Lilihan rug handwoven in Western Iran during the second quarter of the 20th century.
This charming little rug features a curvilinear floral design composed of floral sprays arranged around a central medallion on a soft, faded red field. The main border is composed of a floral meander on a deep indigo ground.
In excellent condition, signs of wear consistent with age. Low pile, with a dense handle.
